  • I picked up an incomplete Slot.it CH34 HRS2 in-line chassis Starter Kit at Swindon today. I don’t have the body to chassis adapter kit, but my kit has, along with the outrigger parts described in ‘how-to #8’, some posts about 12mm long and 2mm square, and some little square cup-things.

The HRS chassis is a fully configurable, universal plastic chassis for slot cars. Adjustable wheelbase, selectable front axle position and flexible assembly system.

The HRS2 chassis that are commercially available at this moment (since summer 2011) have been modified adding two holes right in front the motor mount, to assembly the chip retainer. The older HRS2 chassis didn't have these holes yet, but this modification is easy to be made by the customer.
